NPI MANAGER NEEDED IN STOURBRIDGE, WEST MIDLANDS!!
Due to an internal change and slight restructure, a new role has arisen for an NPI Manager to join a long-standing manufacturing business in Stourbridge, West Midlands.
This role will be working day shifts Monday to Friday (40 hours per week), and the salary is up to £50,000 per annum (DOE).
Anyone who has come from a heavy engineering / foundry / galvanising / castings background would be well received.
This would be a good opportunity for someone who has a previous management background within NPI (New Product Introduction), or a Senior NPI Engineer who is looking for that first step into a management role.
What You Will Do:
- Coordinate tooling design and casting methodology to offer clients unparalleled flexibility in component configuration.
- Monitor cost and maintain the development of a BOM for ERP manufacturing systems, ensuring profitability and competitiveness.
- Collaborate on CRM systems to track projects and new developments, supporting the optimisation of energy and sustainable manufacturing objectives.
- Manage cross-functional coordination across multiple departments for tooling manufacture, casting, finishing, and quality assurance.
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using project management tools, providing regular reports and dashboards on project status.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in project scheduling and cost control processes, contributing to the company’s strategic planning.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and a strong background in manufacturing or engineering.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and process/quality auditing.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word, with the ability to confidently use project management tools.
- A team player attitude with excellent coordination, communication, and time management skills.
- Knowledge or experience of simulation software and measurement tools is preferred.
