MOBILE FITTER REQUIRED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!!
Due to an increase in orders, we are looking for an additional Mobile Fitter to join a well established vehicle conversion manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire.
This role will involve you being out on the road and carrying on mechanical repairs on vehicles at various customer locations across the UK, so it is ESSENTIAL that you hold a Full UK Driving License.
The working hours are day shifts Monday to Friday (45 hours per week), the starting hourly pay rate is between £13.00 – £13.50 per hour (annual salary around £30K), with future development and progression opportunities available, as well as overtime also being available and paid at premium rate once you’ve passed a probation period.
This role would be a great fit for someone who has previous experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Mobile Mechanic, Assembly Fitter, Mobile Fitter, Mechanical Assembler, Mechanical Fitter, Electrical Fitter, Vehicle Fitter or Vehicle Technician who has a passion for working with vehicles and is happy working on the road.
The hiring manager would also consider people who have worked on Vehicles / Commercial Vehicles as a hobby and have got previous experience doing Mechanical or Electrical repairs/installation work.
What You Will Do:
- Measure, cut down, and install components into vehicles, showcasing your precision and skill.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings to bring concepts to life.
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools daily, including spanners and drills, to perform tasks efficiently.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Complete supporting paperwork with attention to detail, contributing to the smooth operation of the manufacturing process.
- Engage in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.
