What You Will Do:

- Liaise closely with customers to identify testing requirements and deliver test rigs that meet and exceed expectations.
- Manage and plan your workload effectively to ensure timely delivery of high-quality test rigs.
- Validate your designs using a variety of methods, including hand calculations, kinematics, Multibody Simulations (MBS), and FEA/CAE.

Senior Exterior Designer
A Senior Exterior Designer is required to join a small but complete vehicle manufacturer.
You will work within the UK design facility on the development of new vehicle designs and assisting the company with the development of a coherent design language across product ranges.
The Senior Exterior Designer role will contribute to the development of styling design for mass production vehicles and concept cars.
As Senior Exterior Designer- you will be required to
- Participate in the design development of exteriors of the future
- Demonstrate good sketch ability, forward-looking creative design ideas, strong integration of vehicle and creative design ideas
- Build the basic volume model by using Alias and Blender to guide the work of digital model division
- 3D Concept development in Alias. Guiding the digital modelling team in the development of your design project
- Understand the automotive market, get ideas and insights into automotive styling trends, and accurate expression of creative ideas
- Scale and full-size model development. Guiding the digital and clay modelling teams in the development of your design project
- Show car development including model build and assembly
As Senior Exterior Designer- you will have
- Degree qualified and proven industry experience in automotive exterior design
- Excellent 2D presentation skills are a must. Proficiency with Photoshop is a necessity, and competency with illustrator, Alias and showcase/VRED highly desirable
- Must be versatile in designing all aspects of exteriors, including overall vehicle proportion down to small detailing with an understanding of feasibility and PQ
- An understanding of vehicle packaging & vehicle component manufacture
